Not sure if I ever posted this here or not…

Been an eventful couple of weeks since the last update. Went to Houston, hung out with Shorty ( ), and had an ultimately pointless lunch. I also restarted my workout program, and proceeded to lose 6 lbs in 6 days. And that period includes my weekend in Houston where I was eating a lot of crap. Anyway, let’s start the countdown again, just like earlier in the year.

Goal: 180 lbs by Dec 31st.

Fri, Oct 21: 194 lbs.

I saw Doom on Saturday, and I gotta say, it wasn’t bad. Wasn’t a classic by any means, and I don’t think I’ll ever want to see it again, but it was aight. Timepass, as we say. Also, I’m almost done with Dragonball. After over 20 DVDs, I’m almost at the last saga. I should have the last DVDs at home this coming weekend. It’ll be kind of a relief. After I finish that, I’m going to devote my spare time to finishing the fourth Harry Potter book, to prep for the movie. When I’m not playing games, that is.

So Friendster has this new feature where you can see who’s looked at your profile. It seemed pretty neat, until I realised that now people could see if I had looked at their profile. Hmmm…

Serenity was a good movie. It’s even more enjoyable if you’re a fan of the original show, but the movie still stands on its own. Good stuff. I’m gonna see Wallace and Gromit tonight, now that I’ve seen their shorts. Let’s see if the movie lives up to that standard.

Today was the company picnic on the softball fields. I had been drafted for one of the volleyball teams. Our group had 3 teams, so we played one set against each of them. We lost the first game 15-2 (after being up 2-1), but did marginally better in the second game, losing 15-6. Then ;our team ;split into two teams of 3 and played for fun, and we actually started playing better. If we’d played like that during the actual tournament, we mighta had a chance. Ah well…

Thanks Kumar:

You are .mpg You live life like it was a movie. Constantly in motion, you bring pleasure to many, but are often hidden away.
Which File Extension are You?

You are Windows 98. You're a bit flaky, but well-liked. You don't have a great memory, but everyone seems to know you. A great person to hang out with and play some games.

If you’ve never used it, Wikipedia can be a pretty good resource. Of course, the danger is the lack of actual editorial control, which means it can be tricky to use that as a means of gathering information on sensitive subjects. Regardless, people should check it out more.

Serenity is coming out this weekend, and I definitely need to catch that. I rented the whole TV series on Netflix, and I definitely became a fan. Let’s see if the movie matches up.
